DRYING PEPPERS
I’ve never dried peppers before. My pal Scot loaned me his dehydrator and it took us a while to locate the temperature controls so this batch was on a VERY slow 98 degree dry…but I figured it out and finished them off at 140 degrees. I have another batch going which includes chilis I smoked this weekend on the Weber, as well as fresh Scotch Bonnet peppers. It is all going to add up to a very tasty mix.
While this is not earth-shattering news to anyone, it is always worth noting when you try something new. Life can get awfully samey if ya let it.
