CD TECHNOLOGY AND SMART PHONES IN THE CAR

I know cd players won't be around for long in cars but I have found it useful this week to put my phone in the trunk and listen to old cds: Giant Sand, Ravi Shankar, and a mix cd my friends Amy and Chris gave me at the holidays last year.  The compulsion to look at my phone at stoplights became pretty obvious and kind of disgusting.
