I checked out Sway Coffee while Pablo and Pixie were getting haircuts and new cravates—it was nice. They have really excellent mugs.

Cleo and I rounded out our music doc weekend with They Say I’m Different, about Betty Davis. It was a little slight and necessarily mysterious, but the important thing is that it introduces her amazing music—a handful of essential records—and gives her present-day voice. Her present day voice is a reflective, poetic, spiritual voice, not a show-biz voice. Good follow up to Sinead O’Connor documentary.
