What was fun yesterday?

  • At work I pulled together a handful of people smarter than I am to discuss a challenging service issue and how to estimate it and successfully retrofit the mechanism of a museum interactive. It is fun to be in on those collaborative riff fests. Especially when it is about an interactive cow and young museum clients and their brutal terroristic war on museum elements, all in the name of FUN.

  • At work I discovered a vendor in our purchasing history who provides specialty belt-sanding parts. “I never thought of that” moments are fun.

  • I got a haircut at Chop Tops. Framed Buck Owens records and Ramones on the stereo=fun.

More needs to be said about fun. Spartans didn’t speak overtly of fun, nor did Vikings. And yet, I think fun is a survival issue. If not fun, MAKING IT FUN.
