MIDTOWN JAMS

We had a fun show at miniBAR in Midtown KC last night with La Cerca and The Scriveners. I hope more KC people get to see our own Matt Brahl play with La Cerca and do road gigs with them. He and their new bass player Joey are a good combo. They played my favorite La Cerca tune “Space Dad.” Onward with their tour, to Tulsa.

Scriveners played witty, fast, crunchy Cheap Trick inspired punk rock and roll. That was what my jet lagged body needed to get through to load out! It was Bernie’s birthday, happy birthday Bernie.
