a cartoon bomb is ticking

house boats are drifting in fog

we came we saw, a bump on a log

She writes down reocurring ideas

puts the list where she sees it

writes in caps, stabs it with a tack

between dreaming and being

I don’t know why I wait

and most of us do it too

why not go and get yourself 

a brand new used canoe

June wants to go to LA

go to movies all day

several days in a row

it’s just something to do

kinda weird, so sue her

she works hard 

she shovels her own snow

An exhibit of dreams delayed

stacking up on a night stand

it creeps into your sleep

jumping berms in a rat patrol jeep

a you-sized hole in the wall at the conference

a devil coughs inside unopened boxes

what is this spot on my cheek is it growing?

is slow going reaping or sewing?

leaves float up, reattach to the branches
