HOTEL WRITING POD IN GUYMON, OKLAHOMA

I noticed this little booth off the lobby when we checked in last night. I’ve been doing morning pages for about 30 years now so I have a keen eye for a good journaling pod. This one has some nice router-cut felt wall panels, a solid surface table, and a comfy turquoise and gray banquette. Textured metallic wallcovering finishes it off. I sure welcome the change of scene and routine. 

Part of hotel stays is almost always a Guy Fieri triple D binge. Cool people bag on Guy for being The Offspring of foodies but I stopped going along with that. I love Triple D and all the delicious-looking multi-cultural food he features, cooked by everyday entrepreneurs who strive to bring people together and make them happy. His foundation also does good work.
