100 DAY POSTCARD CHALLENGE, DAY 88: FOUR WAY CROSS


 I asked a scholarly friend what tradition this drawing echoes, she said early Christian, Coptic, and Celtic. Maybe Aztec.

I’ve drawn a lot of these over the years, hopefully not appropriating anything in an ignorant way. It’s a shape that puts me at ease when I draw it.
