MOVIES N GIGS

I watched The Love Witch on Kanopy this week.  Comedy, horror, burlesque, melodrama, camp, 70's cop show, giallo--funny, gorgeous, weird, smart, thoughtful.  Kanopy picks up where Filmstruck left off, for me.  Whatever is next for the director Anna Biller is something I'm looking forward to now.

Squids are opening for Tav Falco's Panther Burns at recordBAR in May.  Exciting for KC to have him and his band come through.

I love these Zen Pencil books by Gavin Augn Than, really inspiring and positive and fun.  If you practice reading personal growth books now and again, but are a little at odds with the usual format, these are so refreshing.
