VIVA LA DOZE

This old picture of Dozer showed up on my Facebook timeline, right after we saw the great film Leave No Trace.  The therapy dog who kept the veteran medic company in that movie reminded me of her.  The Doze certainly helped me.

This Mark Renner record came to my attention on Spotify after another album played; the algorhithm tags a few tracks on that might resonate. This one really did. At first I thought it was Tobin Sprout, with the simple drum machine sound and gentle atmosphere. 



Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever also went right in my earhole into the empty space there and lit it up. I ordered a copy from The Vinyl Underground, along with the new Ry Cooder. We really need to have a patio party at our house to watch the bats come out, and listen to records.
