EXTRATERRESTRIAL POPPIES GROW PENTAGONS OF CREATIVITY AND DECENCY RIGHT UNDER OUR NOSES

 

This is one I've listened to a lot in the last six months, it's like ambient church organ music, good for both concentrating and letting your mind wander.  It's got a Steve Reich patterning going on that I like.


This record by Nabihah Iqbal is another one I've given multiple spins and it kind of works as a Pandora playstation driver at work too. It's sort of Cure-influenced clubby pop music with a lot of low end. If I see this at the record store I'm gonna grab it, one of my favorites of 2018.
