BIG LOOPY HANDWRITING TO RELAX THE NERVOUS SYSTEM

I've had this ongoing thing with Morning Pages (3 pages handwritten daily to keep the powder dry) inspired by The Artist's Way book.  It's a love-hate thing because I like to draw, play guitar, whatever, and that half hour before the work day is important.  So it becomes about speed, and my hand cramps up, and my writing turns into this Unibomber scrawl that is not legible by even me, thirty second after I put pen to paper.

So I've been enjoying the pages again and making a meditative effort to WRITE BIGGER.   I want writing that is the equivalent of a large fuzzy dog plopped down on a bean bag.  The writing itself becomes a meditation practice, to slow down and be aware of each loop.

Anyhow, it is off to Austin now.
