The B.S. factor here is that I didn't include how much I think about getting presents. But overall I really like birthdays and I advise my friends to celebrate a day for every year, and I'm only half joking.

 Lincoln Barr has a new solo album out, very brave and personal subject matter, and cool songs presented in a way that departs from his Red Jacket Mine releases. I've listened online and should see the 180 gram show up on my porch in time for the weekend.
