PERFECT NIGHT
We played a wonderful show Friday. It was of wonderful to play music with my friends, and two fine bands (John Velghe and The Prodigal Sons, and The Pedaljets.) People from my work community at Dimensional Innovations showed up, as well as friends from our Troostwood neighborhood.
More importantly Boojie celebrated the end of his course of chemo and radiation, and played his ass off!!!
Sidenote: Pedaljets used my Melody Maker to cover for string breakage. If you'd told me twenty five years ago that my guitar would be used by The Pedaljets, I'd have looked at my feet and said "I am a trombone player."
AND Ernie Locke sat in on harp.
