Game of Thrones Pilaf
Last night I made some kind of weird
thing, it was rice and quinoa with grilled tofu, grilled cashews, and
grilled baby zuchhini, along with red onion, cucumber, olive oil,
parsley, and balsamic. It was tabouli-pilaf if tabouli had a
fling with a Japanese-Italian hippy. I don’t know what the
hell it was, but it was okay. It was nothing they’d eat on
Game of Thrones. As far as I know, off-the-cuff pilaf doesn’t
fly on Game of Thrones. You tear into a haunch of antelope and
throw the pilaf over your shoulder for good luck.
The garden is coming along, albeit late. I planted leeks and
walla walla onions for autumn. Things are growing but it was so
cool for so long, the sudden early July heat kind of hit everything
like a George Foreman jab.
